Mobile Legends: Bang Bang does not accept cryptocurrency, but topping up with crypto is straightforward — the diamonds go straight to your account rather than through a store code with a region lock.
There is exactly one thing to get right, and it is the thing people get wrong: MLBB identifies you with two numbers, not one. Get either wrong and the diamonds land in somebody else's account, permanently.
Find both IDs before you order
In Mobile Legends, your identity is User ID (Zone ID). Both parts are required. The User ID alone is not enough, because the same User ID exists in several zones.
- Open Mobile Legends.
- Tap your avatar, top left.
- Under your name you will see something like 12345678 (2001).
- The first number is your User ID. The number in brackets is your Zone ID.
Copy both. Check both. A correct User ID with the wrong Zone ID is a real account belonging to somebody else, and the top-up will go to them — Moonton cannot reverse it and neither can we.
If a top-up page shows you a nickname after you enter the IDs, read it before you pay. That confirmation exists precisely because of this problem. If the name is not yours, stop.
What diamonds buy
Diamonds are MLBB's premium currency: heroes, skins, the Starlight membership, emblem upgrades and the various draw events.
Two things worth knowing:
Starlight is usually the best value per diamond if you play regularly. Price it before you spend on anything else.
The draw events are chance-based. The odds are published and they are not generous. Decide the amount before you start rather than after a near-miss. We would rather write that than sell you a bigger top-up.
No region lock — this one is genuinely simpler
Unlike a Steam or Google Play card, there is no store account region to match here. The top-up follows your User ID and Zone ID, and that is the whole address.
That is why the Mobile Legends product page does not carry the region warning you will see on the gift cards. The rule does not apply, and putting a warning there anyway would be teaching people to skip the ones that matter.
The one thing to watch: some top-up products are tied to a specific regional publisher. If the shop page names a region, buy the one matching where you play.
Buying it with crypto
Amounts run from about $1.98 to $197.88, so a single skin and a full Starlight year both work.

- Pick the diamond amount.

The quote holds for a short window and the network you send on is final. Sending USDT on a chain other than the one shown puts the funds beyond anyone's reach — match the network on the payment page exactly. Stablecoins keep the price still while you send.
Once the transaction confirms on-chain, your code appears in My orders and a copy goes to your email. That is normally a few minutes.
How to redeem
- Open the top-up page named on your order.
- Enter your User ID and Zone ID.
- Check the nickname it shows you. This is the step that catches a typo before it costs you.
- Enter the code and confirm.
- Diamonds appear in-game. If the app was already open, close it fully and reopen — the balance is fetched at launch, and a running session shows a stale number.
That last point causes more "it did not work" reports than any real failure.
The scams around this game
MLBB has a large scam ecosystem: diamond generators, "free Starlight" pages, and traders who offer a better rate than any shop.
Three rules cover almost all of it:
Diamonds are never free. Moonton charges for them because that is the business. A generator is harvesting accounts or installing something.
Nobody legitimate needs your MLBB login. A top-up needs your User ID and Zone ID — both are visible to other players anyway. Any page asking for your password, your linked Google or Facebook account, or a verification code is phishing. There is no exception.
Never share a top-up code. Whoever enters it first gets the diamonds. Do not paste it into a chat, a Discord server, or a screenshot.
That last rule applies to codes bought here too. Yours stays masked in My orders until you ask to see it, which is deliberate.
