Most sites call this a cookie policy, so that is what it is called here. In fact OnyxGift sets no cookies of its own at all — what it uses is your browser’s local storage, which does the same job without travelling with every request. The only real cookies on this site belong to Google Analytics, and they are set only if you say yes below.
Nothing here identifies you to anyone else. Everything in the first table stays in your browser. We cannot read it from our side, and clearing your browser storage removes all of it.
1. What the site needs to work
These are always present. They are what keeps you signed in and the site looking the way you left it, so there is no on/off switch for them — without them the site does not function.

Signing out clears the session but deliberately keeps your theme, your currency and your answer about analytics — resetting the site’s appearance, repricing the catalogue, or re-asking a question you already answered would all be worse than remembering.
2. Analytics — only if you agree
If you agree, Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) sets its own cookies and can record that your visit came from one of our ads. We use it to see which pages and products people use, and whether our own advertising leads to orders.
If you decline, or simply ignore the question, no cookie is set and no identifier is sent. We still count the visit — but anonymously, so it cannot be tied to you, your device, or anything you do later. That is how a refusal can be respected completely without the choice costing you anything.
We never load analytics on the 2-step verification page, where gift-card codes are revealed.
Turning it off stops any further measurement immediately. It cannot recall data already sent, and the container stays loaded until you reload the page — so a reload is the cleanest way to make the change take effect at once.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not build advertising profiles about you.
- We do not use cross-site tracking cookies.
- We do not share your browsing with data brokers or ad networks.
4. Turning it off in your browser
Every browser can block or clear cookies and site data, usually under Settings → Privacy. Clearing OnyxGift’s storage signs you out and forgets your theme, currency and your answer above. It does not affect your orders or your gift-card codes, which live in your account and your email, not in your browser.
