Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of OnyxGift (the “Service”), operated by OnyxGift (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use OnyxGift

By creating an account or placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract, that you are not located in and not ordering on behalf of anyone in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that you do not appear on any applicable sanctions or restricted-party list.

We do not ask for proof of age at sign-up, so this is your confirmation rather than something we have checked. We may ask you to verify it, or your identity, before completing an order — see section 6. If any of it turns out not to be true we may cancel the order and close the account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account and your email inbox. Gift-card codes are delivered to your account and your email address, so anyone with access to either can redeem them. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. What we sell

We sell digital gift cards and vouchers issued by third-party brands. We are an independent reseller. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of those brands unless expressly stated. Each gift card is also subject to the issuing brand’s own terms, including its rules on regions, expiry, combining cards, and what it can be spent on. Read those before you buy.

4. Prices, currencies and crypto payment

Prices are shown in the card’s currency and, where available, converted to your selected display currency. Conversions are indicative. The amount that is binding is the amount quoted at the moment you confirm the order.

Payment is made in cryptocurrency through a third-party payment provider. Important consequences of paying in crypto:

• Quotes expire. Crypto amounts are quoted against a short-lived rate. If you take too long to pay, the order can fail and must be placed again at the current price.
• Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once confirmed, a payment cannot be recalled by us, by you, or by the payment provider. Any refund is a separate, new transaction — see the Refund Policy.
• Underpayment and overpayment. If you send less than the quoted amount, the order will not complete. If you send more, contact support to arrange a return of the difference.
• Network and asset choice are yours. Sending the wrong asset, or the right asset on the wrong network, can make the funds permanently unrecoverable. We cannot recover funds sent outside the payment instructions.

5. Orders and delivery

An order is accepted only when payment is confirmed on-chain and we issue the code. Codes are delivered digitally — normally within minutes — to Orders and to your email. Delivery can take longer if the issuing brand’s system is delayed.

We may refuse or cancel an order, before or after payment, if we suspect fraud, if the product is mispriced or unavailable, if a sanctions or AML check requires it, or if accepting it would breach these terms or the issuer’s terms. Where we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in line with the Refund Policy.

6. Compliance, sanctions and anti-money-laundering

Order limits. There is a cap on how much can be bought per account within a rolling period. If an order goes over it we decline that order and tell you so at checkout. We do not publish the figure, and it may change without notice.

Verification. We may ask you to verify your identity or the source of funds before completing or refunding an order, and we may hold the order until you do. Our payment provider runs its own checks on the crypto side, independently of ours.

Action we may take. We may suspend an account, hold or cancel an order, or decline a refund to a particular wallet address where we are required to do so or where a check flags a risk. We may report activity to the relevant authorities where the law requires it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• buy for resale, or operate the Service on a commercial scale, without our written agreement;
• use stolen, laundered, or otherwise unlawfully obtained funds;
• use automated means to scrape, bulk-order, or overload the Service;
• attempt to probe, breach, or bypass the Service’s security or authentication;
• misrepresent your identity, location, or eligibility.

8. Codes that don’t work

If a code is rejected by the issuing brand and it has not been redeemed, contact [email protected] with the exact error message. We will investigate with the issuer and, where the code is confirmed faulty, replace it or refund it. We can’t help with a code that has already been redeemed, so keep codes private.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Catalogue, prices, and supported brands can change at any time without notice.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for losses arising from: the issuing brand’s acts or insolvency; the value of a cryptocurrency changing; a blockchain network fault, congestion, or fee; your loss of access to your wallet, email, or account; or codes disclosed by you to a third party. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

11. Intellectual property

The Service, its design and its content are ours or our licensors’. Brand names and logos in the catalogue belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the gift card being sold.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version. Material changes apply to orders placed after they are published; your existing orders keep the terms that applied when you placed them.

13. Governing law

Wherever you live, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
