How to redeem
Your code is 25 characters. Before you redeem, sign in to the Microsoft account you actually want the balance on — once a code is redeemed it cannot be moved to another account.
On the web (any device)
- Go to microsoft.com/redeem.
- Sign in to your UK Microsoft account, and check the account name shown is the right one.
- Enter or paste the 25-character code, then confirm.
- The full value is added to your Microsoft account balance straight away.
On an Xbox console
- Sign in to your Microsoft account on the console.
- Open the Store from the guide and choose the Redeem option.
- Enter the 25-character code and follow the prompts.

Spending it
The balance is used automatically at checkout on Microsoft Store online, on Windows and on Xbox. You can put it towards Xbox Game Pass and other subscriptions.

Region and currency

What the balance can be used for

Expiry
- Balance from a purchased gift card does not expire. Promotional balance credited by Microsoft expires under the terms of its own promotion.
Delivery, faults and refunds
- The code is digital content delivered immediately. Treat it as cash: Microsoft is not responsible for a code that is lost, stolen, shared or used by someone else.
- If a code is faulty — rejected by Microsoft and confirmed never validly usable, and not yet redeemed — we refund it in full.
- We cannot refund a code that has been redeemed in whole or in part, or one bought for the wrong region after it has been delivered. Please check your account’s country before ordering.
